JOIN THE TEAM

BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND CAPITAL CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE

Applications are now open for Austin Playhouse's Board and Capital Campaign Committee!

Austin Playhouse welcomes motivated community members to apply to join our Board of Directors and/or Capital Campaign Committee. The Board consists of individuals from many different backgrounds and experiences, invested in our goal of supporting and strengthening Austin Playhouse and its mission. Our Board is involved in making business decisions and fundraising for Austin Playhouse, so much of the work involves fact-finding and close collaboration with the staff and other Board members.

Board Members Expectations:

  • Serve at least one 2-year term

  • Attend 2-4 hours of board and committee meetings monthly (a majority of meetings will take place virutally)

  • Serve on 1-2 committees. Current committees include Capital Campaign, Board Recruitment, Community Building, and Special Events

  • Actively work to support and strengthen Austin Playhouse's future

Austin Playhouse welcomes applicants who would exclusively like to support the Capital Campaign. The Capital Campaign Committee leads efforts to secure funding for our permanent home: The Austin Playhouse Arts Center. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2025. More information can be found here.
